It just turned June and so many of our favorite fruits are just starting to come into season. One fruit we are always trying to fit into our menu is the Peach, and has the weather heats up, the peaches just get sweeter and juicer. That is why we came up with this healthy little take on a Peach Cobbler so you can try it out at home.
Peaches are a great source of Vitamin C and Vitamin A, and also contain all 5 classifications of Carotenoids, which help you with your eye and skin health. They are also a low-calorie fruit so you don’t have to worry about consuming all your daily intake with one smoothie in the morning.
We added traditional Peach Cobbler ingredients into this smoothie so it tastes as much like the dessert as it can. Of course this is a healthy take on it, so we use all organic and all raw versions of each ingredient. We also suggest freezing the peaches overnight if you can, as it leads to a better smoothie mixture with the rest of the ingredients. Enjoy the Peachy Cobbler summer smoothie!
- 1 frozen organic Peach
- 3 frozen organic banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
- 1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoons raw honey – optional
